Join Surfside for its second annual Beach 5K Run. The Run/Walk will take place on the beach hard pack and beach walkway.
When:
Sunday, February 17, 2008
Packet Pick up will be on Saturday February 16 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Surfside Community Center, 9301 Collins Ave.
Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup will be from 6:30a.m.-7:30 a.m. (No packet pickup after 7:30 a.m. on race day)
Race Start Time is 8:00 a.m.
Where:
Start will be behind the Best Western Hotel (on the beach hard pack), 94th Steet Collins Ave, Surfside, FL 33154.
Directions:
From I-95 exit 125th street and go east over the Broad Causeway to Harding Ave and make a right go south on Harding go to 93rd St and look for parking lot.

The course will start on the beach hard pack at 94th St and run south to 87 Terr and turn back north for a second loop and finish at the beach hard pack at 95th St. The course will be on the hard pack sand, gravel road way and beach walk. The race will start and finish on the beach hard pack in Surfside.

Top Masters M/F 40+
Age Groups Male and Female 1st-3rd - 14 and under (all 14 and under finishers will receive an award), 15-19,20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70+
The first 150 registrations will receive a race T-Shirt. All participants will receive a goody bag.
Post Race:
Light food and refreshments will be served post race along with awards.
