We highly recommend that all participants purchase an annual USAT license
rather than a single day license. The cost is $39 and provides the holder
with insurance for all USAT sanctioned events for an entire year. It also
comes with many other benefits and coupons for on-line purchases. See
www.usatriathlon.org
for more information. Fees from a single one-day license may be applied
to the purchase of an annual license, so keep your receipt.
$5 per vehicle will be collected at the park entrance for all participants and spectators. If you are a volunteer, please email volunteer@multirace.com for a parking pass.
Volunteers:
We are always looking for volunteers. If you are attending the race, but
not participating, or are racing but are bringing spectators with you, please
email volunteer@multirace.com as
we have plenty of fun jobs helping out with the race that gets you up close to
all the action. You'll be glad you did!

Course Description:
The swim course is in the Atlantic Ocean off of Key Biscayne. We don't
exit the ocean right by transition because the water is not deep enough
there. There are limited areas along Crandon beach where the water
is deep enough for swimming, so the swim course is confined to those areas
making for a short beach run to transition.
The cycling portion of the Triathlon will take athletes from Crandon Park west onto the Rickenbacker Causeway. This course is the favorite training ground of all local triathletes. Be ready to awe at the magnificence of Biscayne Bay as you ride through the causeway. All bike traffic will stay on the outbound lane of the causeway which will be closed to vehicular traffic. Vehicular traffic will be diverted to the inbound lane.
The run course will take place inside of Crandon Park with portions along the paved path next to the beach with awe inspiring views of the Ocean.
