$10 - One-day USAT license (required if participant is not an annual USAT license holder)
We highly recommend that all participants purchase an annual USAT license rather than a single day license.  The cost is $39 and provides the holder with insurance for all USAT sanctioned events for an entire year.  It also comes with many other benefits and coupons for on-line purchases.  See www.usatriathlon.org for more information.  Fees from a single one-day license may be applied to the purchase of an annual license, so keep your receipt.

$1.50 per person will be collected at the park entrance for all participants and spectators.  If you are a volunteer, please email volunteer@multirace.com for a parking pass.

Volunteers:
We are always looking for volunteers.  If you are attending the race, but not participating, or are racing but are bringing spectators with you, please email volunteer@multirace.com as we have plenty of fun jobs helping out with the race that gets you up close to all the action.  You'll also earn race credit to use towards future race entry fees.  You'll be glad you did!

Course Description:
Tradewinds Park is a beautiful park to host our event. The entire event will take place inside the park, so we have a closed course with no traffic. The start/transition area will be on the South Side of the park in the first parking lot on the right after you pass the park office.

The swim course starts half way down the lake on the south side of the park.  The lake edge curves allowing a straight view across the lake to the boat rental house.  Swimmers will start at that point and swim straight across to the left side of the boat rental house.  The water is very clean and flat (no waves!).  There is a dirt lead in and out of the water, so no wading through seaweed!  After the swim, participants will exit right into the transition area.

The bike course turns right and goes south out of transition, circles around the southern parking lot, comes back north and takes a right turn across the street from transition, then runs north under Sample road to the northern end of the park. From there it heads west, then back south again until it reaches the the north park cut across where the course turns left.  The riders make a right after that and head back south, making another right by the soccer fields, then turning left onto the main park road that returns them to transition.  After the first lap the riders keep going straight to complete a second loop.  After the second lap, it is a right turn back into transition.

The run course goes north along the main park road to the entrance, squiggles through the northern parking lot, then heads back south on the park's paved path to the end where runners will take a short jog through the woods, make a hard left out of the woods and follow the path back to the finish line.  It is a very scenic run staying along the lake for 1/2 of the course.
