Wetsuits Rules and Water Temperature Information

Water temperatures will be posted at Information Desk located in the Registration area on race morning.

It is the Athletes choice to wear wetsuits; Wetsuits will not be allowed if the water temperature is above 78 degrees

The months of January, Februrary, March, April, November and December will most likely be wetsuit legal.

All other months we can't know for sure until the race official has measured the water temperature on race morning.

Please go to www.weather.com or any other site of your choice for the most current surf temperatures.

Please note that these are averages as published by the National Oceanographic Data Center. In 2005 we have had races in the months of April and May with water temperatures well below 78 degrees. But once again, we will know the official water temperature on race morning once the race official has measured the water.
